My name is Chen Zhao; I am a fashion and graphic designer. I from Inner Mongolia, an ethnic minority region in China. My passion for art began in childhood, and influenced by my father, I decided to pursue a career in fashion design. After completing my second year at Xiamen University, I transferred to an Art university in the United States to further chase my artistic dreams.

Previously, I received my Art design B.A degree from the Fashion Institute of Design and Merchandising (FIDM) in 2019. Earlier, I obtained my Fashion Design A. A degree from FIDM in 2017. I am now a fashion and graphic designer, and I run my clothing website and do graphic design for other companies.

Influenced by my family, I have loved design since childhood. Moreover, being a good designer has always been my pursuit and dream.

Now, I am also a mother of two. Becoming a parent has given me new understanding and perspectives on both life and art.

My story of Mstar 

I come from Inner Mongolian, my family business cashmere factory when I was so young. We only choose the finest for our cashmere between 15-18 microns and 28-32mm long. So our products can be more durable while staying airy light.

Cashmere is so essential in my life, I have lots of cashmere products, but the most valuable is a grey v-neck cashmere sweater. It belongs to my father; he got it when he about 20 years old, now it belongs to me. Although we have worn this one for 30 years, the cuff is already open，but it still so soft and warm. I need this cashmere sweater in every coldest winter. It, for me, means warmth, family, and hometown.

My family believes the origin of the best cashmere products comes from In Inner Mongolian. We believe when you touch cashmere products, you will also spread a wonderful precious memory with them.
